Frequently Asked Questions
You are likely trying to delete the location currently marked as Default. The system prevents you from deleting the default hub because it is required for inventory syncing.
To fix this, you must first:
- Navigate to Settings → Locations.
- Click Change default location and assign the "Default" badge to a different active location.
- Once the badge is moved, the Delete location button will appear for the original location (found at the bottom right of its details page).
Proceed with caution. Changing your units (e.g., from kg to lb) in Settings → Store does not automatically convert the values of your existing products.
If you switch from kg to lb, a product previously listed as 5 kg will numerically remain 5, becoming 5 lbs. Since 5 lbs is significantly lighter than 5 kg, this will result in undercharged shipping rates. You must manually update the weight and dimensions of every product in your catalog immediately after changing this setting.
Soppiya requires that a user account already exists in the system before it can be added as a staff member. You cannot invite an email address that hasn't registered yet.
The Solution: Ask your staff member to go to the Soppiya signup page and create a free user account first. Once they are registered, you can enter their email in Settings → User and permissions to assign them a role.
Connecting a third-party domain is a two-step process involving your domain provider and your Soppiya settings:
- Update Nameservers: Log in to your domain provider (e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap) and change the Nameservers to
ns1.soppiya.comandns2.soppiya.com. It may take up to 48 hours for this to propagate. - Connect in Soppiya: Once the nameservers are updated, go to Settings → Domains, click Connect existing domain, enter your URL, and save.
Soppiya does not generate these credentials; they are issued directly by the payment provider.
- bKash: You need your Username, Password, App Key, and App Secret, which are provided after your bKash merchant account is approved.
- SSLCOMMERZ/AamarPay: You need your Store ID and Store Password/Signature Key, provided upon creation of your merchant account with them.
Once you have these details, enter them in Settings → Payments under the Digital Payment tab.
