Admin Dashboard

This document provides a comprehensive technical overview of the Soppiya Administrative environment. It covers the hierarchy of store management, the architecture of the administrative workspace, and the operational monitoring tools available to merchants.

Account Environment & Storefront Routing

The Soppiya platform utilizes a centralized account management system. Upon authentication, users are routed to the Account Storefront Hub, which serves as the top-level directory for all business entities linked to a single verified user.

The Storefront Hub

This environment is the master directory for your business profile. It is designed for multi-store management, allowing a single verified user to oversee multiple distinct e-commerce entities.

  • Store Inventory Management: The interface categorizes stores into Active and Inactive tabs. This allows developers and merchants to toggle development environments (dev.soppiya.xyz) against production environments (abc.soppiya.xyz) efficiently.
  • Rapid Environment Provisioning: The + Create Store utility allows for the instant deployment of a new, isolated database and storefront instance, inheriting the user’s account credentials.
  • Global Navigation: From this view, selecting any store entry will authenticate the session and transition the user into the Admin Workspace of that specific store.

Admin Workspace Overview

Upon entering a selected store, users are presented with the Admin Overview Dashboard. This workspace is divided into three functional zones: the Global Navigation Sidebar, the Metric Insight Panel, and the Account Context Header.

The Global Navigation Sidebar

The left-hand sidebar is the primary routing interface, divided into three specific categories:

  1. Core Business Modules: Persistent access to the store's primary databases:
    • Orders & Carts: Transactional history and abandoned cart recovery.
    • Products & Markets: Inventory management and multi-region regional configurations.
    • Customers & Discounts: Buyer relationship management and promotional engine controls.
    • Content: Global media, page, and editorial management.
  2. Apps & Integrations: An extensible panel displaying all installed third-party modules. This section is modular; installing apps from the Soppiya App Store populates this list with dedicated interfaces (e.g., Courier BD, ManyDial, BD SMS), allowing for seamless workflow integration without bloating the core dashboard.
  3. System Settings: The anchor for back-office configurations, covering logistics, payment rules, and account permissions.

Metric Insight Panel

The central workspace provides real-time business intelligence to monitor operational performance.

Plan & Resource Subscription Metrics

This section displays the high-level subscription status of the current environment.

  • Plan Tier: Displays the current billing tier (e.g., Unleash Plan).
  • Trial Lifecycle: A countdown timer visualizing time-to-expiry, ensuring continuity of service.
  • Resource Utilization: A transparent list of active service limits, including active staff accounts, active market locations, theme installation counts, and disk storage usage. This is critical for scaling operations and monitoring account health.

Order Lifecycle Analytics

A diagnostic circular chart representing the current state of the sales funnel.

  • Total Orders: The aggregate counter of all processed transactions.
  • State Distribution: Real-time metrics categorized by status: Pending, Confirmed, Completed, and Cancelled. This provides the merchant with immediate insight into fulfillment velocity and pending customer actions.

Product Inventory Health

A horizontal data visualization segmenting the product catalog:

  • Total Product Count: The total sum of items in the database.
  • Active vs. Draft Split: A breakdown indicating how many products are currently published to the live storefront (Active) versus those stored internally as unpublished inventory (Draft).

Account Context & Identity Management

The header interface serves as the constant reference for user authentication and multi-store management.

  • Global Account Switcher: Clicking the store name (e.g., "ABC Store") in the top-right corner triggers the Store Switcher Dropdown. This enables the user to jump between different stores managed under the same account without the overhead of logging out and re-authenticating.
  • System Navigation & Help: The context menu provides rapid access to:
    • Help Center: Official technical documentation.
    • Community Forums: Peer-to-peer troubleshooting.
    • Expert Marketplace: Access to professional development services.
  • User Identity: Displays the current logged-in identity (Name and Email) and provides a Manage Account link, which redirects the user to the profile management settings to update credentials, security keys, and security devices.
