What Is Brand Settings?
Brand settings let you define how your store looks and feels across every touchpoint — your website, emails, mobile apps, and social media. From logos and colors to slogans and social links, this is where you build a cohesive visual identity.
- Logo Management - Upload default and square logos for headers, favicons, and app icons
- Color System - Define primary and secondary brand colors for buttons and accents
- Cover Image - Set a banner image for profile pages and app loading screens
- Messaging - Add a slogan and short description for SEO and social sharing
- Social Links - Connect all your social media profiles
Complete the Brand Asset Checklist (right sidebar) before launching your store. Aim for all green checkmarks to ensure a polished, professional appearance from day one.
Brand Settings Overview
The Brand settings page is organized into clear sections. On the right sidebar, a Brand Asset Checklist tracks your setup progress, divided into:
- Essential: Critical assets (Logos, Colors) required for a functional store
- Additional: Recommended assets (Social links, Slogan) for a polished look
Green Checkmark: Indicates the asset is successfully saved.

Logo Assets
Your logos serve as the face of your business. Soppiya requires two specific formats to ensure your brand looks sharp on both desktop headers and mobile app icons.
Default Logo
UI Label: Used for most common logo applications
This is your primary logo, displayed on your website header and email invoices.
- Actions:
- Change: Click the Change button to open the media library and upload your main logo file.
- Remove: Click the Remove button to delete the current logo.
Square Logo
UI Label: Used for most common logo applications
A compact 1:1 version of your logo. This is strictly used for mobile app icons, browser favicons (the small icon in browser tabs), and social media profile pictures.
- Actions:
- Change: Click the Change button to open the media library. You can upload a new file or select an existing one.
- Remove: Click the Remove button to delete the current image.
For both logo types, please adhere to these standards for the best quality:
- Supported Formats: HEIC, WEBP, SVG, PNG, or JPG.
- Dimensions: Recommended width 512 pixels minimum.
Brand Colors
Define the color palette that appears on your store buttons, highlights, and accents.
Primary Color
The main brand color used for high-impact elements like "Buy Now" buttons and active links.
- Action: Click the color swatch to open the picker.
- Input: You can select a color visually or enter a Hex code (e.g.,
#22DFA9). - Reset: Click Reset Color in the picker or Remove to revert settings.
Secondary Color
Supporting colors used for accents and additional details.
- Action: Click the color swatch to adjust.
- Remove: Click the Remove text link to delete the secondary color.
Cover Image
UI Label: Key image that shows off your brand in profile pages and apps
This large banner image is used as a background header on your profile pages and during app loading screens.
- Supported formats: HEIC, WEBP, SVG, PNG, or JPG.
- Recommended width: 512 pixels minimum.
- Actions:
- Change: Upload or select a generic brand banner.
- Remove: Delete the current image.
Use an abstract pattern or lifestyle photography. Avoid placing text in this image, as it may be cropped differently on mobile screens versus desktop.
Brand Messaging
Slogan
A short, catchy tagline that sits alongside your logo to explain your brand philosophy.
- Input: Enter a brief phrase.
- Example: "A unique companion for online shopping"
Short Description
A concise summary of your business.
- Usage: This text is used for SEO and social sharing. When you share your store link on Facebook or WhatsApp, this text appears below the title.
Social Links
Connect your store to your external social media profiles. These are displayed as clickable icons in your store's footer.
How to manage links:
- Click the Add social link button.
- Choose your platform (Facebook, Twitter/X, Tumblr, Youtube, etc.).
- Enter the Full URL to your specific profile.
Correct Format:
https://www.facebook.com/yourpage - Remove: Click the red Remove text on the right side of any link to delete it.

Troubleshooting
My logo looks blurry on the storefront
Possible causes:
- The uploaded image is too small in resolution
Solution:
- Re-upload a logo that is at least 512 pixels wide

- Avoid JPEG for logos with transparent backgrounds
My brand color doesn't apply to buttons
Possible causes:
- The color was set but not saved
- Your theme may override brand colors
Solution:
- Set the primary color and click Save
- Check your Theme Editor for any custom color overrides
- Clear your browser cache and refresh the storefront
Social links are not showing on my storefront
Possible causes:
- Your theme's footer doesn't include social link blocks
Solution:
- Go to the Theme Editor and ensure your footer section includes social link icons
- Verify the URLs are complete (must start with
https://) - Check that you clicked Save after adding the links

Best Practices
Brand Settings Best Practices
Logo Design
- Upload both logo types — the default and square formats to cover all use cases
- Use transparent backgrounds — PNG or SVG format ensures logos blend with any background color
- Keep square logos simple — at small sizes (like favicons), detailed designs become unreadable
Colors
- Choose accessible colors — ensure your primary color has sufficient contrast with white text (WCAG standards)
- Stay consistent — use the same hex codes across your website, packaging, and marketing materials
- Test on mobile — colors may render slightly differently on mobile screens
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- ❌ Uploading low-resolution logos — always use 512px minimum width
- ❌ Using text in cover images — text may be cropped or unreadable on mobile
- ❌ Leaving the short description empty — this hurts SEO and makes social shares look incomplete
- ❌ Using personal social accounts — create dedicated business profiles for your social links
Summary
The Brand settings page is your one-stop shop for establishing a consistent visual identity across all channels. From logos and colors to messaging and social connections, every asset here impacts how customers perceive your store.
Key takeaways:
- Upload both a default logo (for headers/emails) and a square logo (for app icons/favicons)
